1. Where do the donations go?

Donations go directly to the The Vermont Foodbank,  the state’s largest hunger-relief organization, serving communities in all 14 counties of Vermont through a network of more than 280 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers and after-school programs. In 2011, the Vermont Foodbank distributed more than 8 million pounds of food to as many as 86,000 Vermonters.

 The Vermont Foodbank, a member of Feeding America, is nationally recognized as one of the most effective and efficient nonprofits and food banks in the nation.

2. How do I find a specific rider to donate to?

Use the rider search tool to find a specific rider. Please note that not all riders are fundraising.  

3. Can I just donate to the Vermont Foodbank?

Yes. You can donate directly to the Vermont Foodbank via the Harpoon Point to Point here

4. Is my transaction secure?

Your Website account preferences are password protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas, and in particular when you are making your donation, we use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions.

5. When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately. 

6. Can I send a check?

Yes. If you’re donating on behalf of a rider, make sure to put his/her name in the memo so they have it credited to their account!

Are you a fundraiser? Then read these FAQs to learn more:

1. I’m a registered rider. Am I automatically set up to fundraise?

If you registered for the 115-mile or 50-mile ride, you setup a fundraising account when you registered. 

To access your fundraising page, you will login here. The username to use is the email address that you used when you registered and you gave us a password when you registered.

If you are a 25-mile rider, you had the option to setup a fundraising account when you registered. If you did, then please follow the instructions above for the 115-mile/50-mile riders.If not, you can setup a fundraising account here.  

2. How do I invite friends to donate to my campaign?

Use the Support link and in the left navigation bar click Update your Profile. Then, log in and on the right navigation bar, click: Invite Friends and Family
