What is the Harpoon Point to Point?
The annual Harpoon Point to Point is a day of bicycle rides (115 miles, 50 miles and 25 miles) across the state of Vermont to benefit the Vermont Foodbank. Cue sheets for each ride are available as well as maps from mapmyride.com
What are the transportation options for riders?
You may choose to take transportation for you, your bike and your gear to your starting location in Williston or Bethel. You may do so before your ride or after you finish. All buses depart from the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.
Will there be same-day registration?
Yes. Day of registration forms will be available when we close online registration on August 7th. Please print the form, fill it out, and bring it with you on ride day to the registration table along with a check for your registration fee. Please do not mail in your form ahead of time, registration for this event prior to ride day is only available online.
115-mile ride: 5:30 AM at the Family Catamount Center, Williston, VT
50-mile ride: 9:30 AM at the Whitcomb Jr. Sr. High School in Bethel, VT
25-mile ride: 11:00 AM at the Harpoon Brewery, Windsor, VT
Can I pick up my packet before ride day?
Not at this time. Please arrive at least 1 hour before your ride starts
Can I fundraise online?
You bet. All 115 mile and 50 mile registrants are required to set up a fundraising account when they register. 25 mile registrants have the option to set one up. Click here to start your fundraising now.
What can I expect at the rest stops?
At the rest stops we will provide a variety of the following: water, POWERADE, sandwiches, Clif bars, peanuts, pickles, Cape Cod Potato Chips, Zico Coconut Water and fruit. Learn more about the rest stops on Course Info pages
I'm not riding, but can I help out on ride day or make a donation to the Foodbank?
Yes! We are looking for volunteers that day to help at various locations along the course. Please email Stephani at stcook@vtfoodbank.org for more details.
I am on a team. Can a donor make a donation to my entire team?
You can direct friends and family to your Team page, but once there, they must select one team member to contribute to. A donor cannot donate to an entire team, they must donate in the name of an individual. Any donations your team members receive on their individual pages will also show up as part of your team fundraising total on your team page. If you are 115- or 50-Mile riders, each of you are still responsible for the $150 fundraising minimum.
