50 Mile Course (actually 46 miles!)
This ride starts from Harpoon Brewery and takes a right on route 5 towards Hartland. Continue straight on to Quechee Hartland Road. This is a great paved road with some great climbs and beautiful fast flats. Crossing route 4, taking you through the historic covered bridge in Quechee around the Quechee Club (Rest Stop #1 is here!) and onto River Rd, this is a beautiful ride along the river. *Note the terrain changes to a packed dirt road here.
River road will bring you into the town of Woodstock. Go around the green and head onto 106 South past the Woodstock Inn. Just after you turn onto 106, take your first right and Rest Stop #2 is behind the Elementary School. Follow 106 into reading, taking a left on Route 44 into Brownsville. *Look out for Zeus, the Zebra who lives in Reading on Route 106!
Taking a left on Brownsville Hartland Rd (Rest Stop #3 on the corner!) will give you a 3 mile climb and fun descend, bringing you home through Hartland and back to the Harpoon Brewery. 46 miles, +3347 feet of climbing
